Jacob TindallA manatee named Jake
On May 29, 2025, during CMA Research Institute manatee health assessments in Belize, the team named a male manatee Jake.
That day Jacob helped collect a urine sample, assisted with blood sampling, and kept the animal wet while others took a tissue sample from the paddle and placed a tag under the skin. Jamal Galves was on the boat.
