First volunteer weeks at CMA

In July 2026, Jacob spent two weeks volunteering at Clearwater Marine Aquarium — Guest Engagement and the Dive Team. He learned animal identification and daily habitat care. Staff invited him back when he is in town.

The same Clearwater stretch included time with Jamal Galves at the Buddy Powell Manatee Rehabilitation Center, and a tour of Eckerd College, the marine-science school Jacob hopes to attend.
